Is Albert Pujols the best in the big leagues?
Asked on: 15 May 2006
Pujols became the fastest player in major league history to reach 19 home runs, leading the St. Louis Cardinals to a 9-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday night.
Pujols reached the milestone in his 37th game, beating Mickey Mantle in 1956 and Luis Gonzalez of the Diamondbacks in 2001, by three games. Pujols added RBI singles in the first and fourth, hiking his major league-leading total to 47, and flied out to the warning track in center field in the sixth.

Pujols - Trade Block?
Asked on: 16 Oct 2006
I mean, obviously he can't handle the pressure of the St. Louis media. 1 hit the whole series? They should certainly trade him for pitching this offseason, it is clear he will never perform in the big game!

Would you have pitched to Pujols last night?
Asked on: 18 Oct 2005
The reason the Astros gave for pitching to him was that they didn't want to put the tying run in scoring position. Man I don't give a fuck if you do have one of the best closers in baseball on the mound, you can't let Pujols beat you like that. Aside from Bonds, he's easily the best hitter in baseball, without a doubt.
Would you have walked Pujols and put the tying run on 2nd? Or would you have pitched to him like Houston did?
