MacBook Air SuperDrive Work in Powered USB Hub?
Asked on: 31 Oct 2008
I bought a Belkin powered USB hub and hooked my MacBook Air Superdrive to it and it won't work. I was under the impression it would in a powered USB HUB. Anyone share any experiences with me on this? Thanks

general opinion on the powered or unpowered "SW-44" switch?
Asked on: 26 Sep 2006
What is the general opinion on the powered or unpowered "SW-44" switch? I see a large range in prices on E-bay, but does it really matter if you use a powered or unpowered switch? I suspect that it would cause more of a strain on your receiver supplying the voltage to the LNB, but otherwiseshould I worry about getting the powered device? Thanks.

PTO powered chipper - any ideas?
Asked on: 13 Nov 2008
PTO powered chipper - any ideas? Hi
Has anyone ever customised a chipper to make it PTO powered (540rpm) or built a PTO powered chipper from scratch?
Thought it might make a good project (along with the lengthy list of other tractor related projects that need finishing!).

Do I have to get M-powered?
Asked on: 12 Nov 2008
I have been using Pro Tools for 10 years, but I really don't need "M-Powered", I am very content with 7.1 LE that I have. Do I need to get "M-Powered", and if I don't what interfaces are compatible with just LE?
thanks

"High-Powered Ammunition" CA?
Asked on: 30 Dec 2008
Was reading an article on the Santa killer and came across this:
"Authorities said his plan was thorough and detailed. Pardo had a getaway car, an airplane ticket to the Midwest, several guns, and high-powered ammunition only sold outside the state."

What does CA consider "high-powered ammunition"?
