I have not much time to check this site, but I look for AoB updates regularly (without succes mostly )
I'm going into politics in one of the biggest cities of the Netherlands, Utrecht. I love politics and tried to get in...it succeeded. The political system is different than in many other countries, but I will be part of the local parliament, the 'fractie'. In a few years you can vote for me here .
I am now a researcher in Amsterdam (this year my 3rd and 4rd book), but this looks like something...

I'm not really a political genius... I'm more of a naive idealist, but I can identify a good article once in a while. I thought this one, however, was very well-written, well-supported, and utterly disturbing because of all of the truth in the historical references. Had the author never used "****" or "****" or something, I'd probably be plastering the link all over the place to various people I kn...

Political forum or political master thread?

Ok, since several of you seem to really enjoy politics (God only knows why. hehe) I'm thinking of starting one of two things. Either a politics forum, or a master politics thread where you can dump all your political rantings in one neat tidy place where people who want to debate politics can easily find it, and those who don't can easily avoid it.
What do you guys think?? A separate politics forum, or a single politics thread?
