Playoff Format or Playoff Doormat?

Disrict 10 playoffs are around the corner,
Soon it will be time for the annual criticism of the selection committee.
BUT, by adding only one more round of playoffs every team in District 10 can be seeded into the playoff schedule. This will be especially beneficial next season, when the basketball season gets shortened by 2 games.
Just think about it...more games...more gate money...more student involvement...a team that finds itself in the second half of the season can live on in the playoffs.....

Looking ahead to a difficult road we must travel to just make the playoffs-putting aside the division title (since Tenn. would have to go 2-6), let's look at the possibilities. Believe it or not it really is doable and maybe probable. Take a look at my predictions, then take a shot at your predictions.

Tenn (W) obvious big game-glad it's at home

Playoffs?....Playoffs?

I have to believe that are wins this year far out weight our loss. We have beaten NE, Balt, and now Pitts. At least two of these teams could be playing for a wild card spot. Its looking like 10-6 could be the number for the wild card. Looking at our schedule going forward 10-6 is definitely doable. Now we have the head to head advantage. Not being a homer but we still have a legit shot at this.

Do we Really Need an AHL Playoffs this Year?

Alright Question of the week, Do we hold AHL playoffs that run simitaniously with the NHL playoffs? Who will do the legwork? Is it really needed? Can players be calledup for the playoffs and still participate in the AHL playoffs? How many GM's are going to be too busy with the NHL playoffs?

ok..i figured i'd be here by now...and I am, but i'm afraid i'm going to f myself with these key spots.
-Got two spots to fill for a WR and a Flex between:
-B Jacobs (only because he's questionable) (starting RBs are AD and Kevin Smith.)
-L Evans
-Housmanzadeh
-Braylon Brickhands Edwards
-and sitting way down on the bench is Deshaun Foster/Cedric Benson

Why no playoffs in college football?

I've always wondered why there could not be a "December Madness". Get your brackets out and follow along as the college football teams battle it out all month. But no, there are more bowls than there were in Julia Childs' kitchen. You've got the Dog Food Bowl, the Toilet Bowl, the Soup Bowl, the Chili Bowl and so on and on.
So college football fans, what's the rationale for not having playoffs?
